Third Annual Corey Brewer Back-to-Back Youth Basketball Camp
Date: August 6-8, 2012
Time: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Location: The Rock School – 9818 SW 24th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida, 32607
Campers: Boys and Girls (ages 9-18)
Cost: $175 per camper
Camp Includes: Lectures, Basketball Drill Stations, Player Evaluations, 5 on 5 Games, Basketball Contests and Education Sessions

Corey Brewer’s style suits Nuggets well in first round

Corey Brewer has been Mr. Do It All in this series for the Nuggets. Need a 3-pointer? He’ll hit one. Need a steal? Brewer’s there. Got to have a stop? Put Brewer on the Lakers’ best perimeter threat.
A year ago, Brewer played this same instrumental role for the Dallas Mavericks, which won the NBA title. And while no one is suggesting the Nuggets will win the championship this season, Brewer’s Glue Guy, Mr. Everything role has been reprised in the Mile High City to the delight of his teammates and coach George Karl.
“It’s very important,” Brewer said of his frentic style. “That’s what it’s all about. We have to get out and rebound and make the 50-50 plays. That’s what coach got on us about and that’s what we did.”
Thing is, Brewer loves the chase. Loves running down a loose ball. Craves running the court and finishing with a fast break dunk. He’s aware of the details that win basketball games, and he’s more than willing to take the responsibility of getting them done.
His fourth-quarter performance in Game 6 Thursday night was big. Brewer was all over the place. He finished with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block.
“We’ve gained confidence with each game,” Brewer said. “Started playing well, playing good defense, and trying to get them tired. We’re running and playing our game.”
